English & Sports or Culture Programme 

We believe in giving you the complete language travel experience while you are in Ireland.  Learning English should be more than just doing English lessons.  Learning English can also mean having fun. On the Sports or Culture Programme you still receive the full immersion experience of living with and being taught by your own private teacher.  This programme also includes intensive, one-to-one, English lessons.  You will be totally isolated from your own language.  You can practice your English as much as you like with your friendly Irish family.

The difference with this programme is that you can choose from a range of sports & cultural activities. We believe you should make the most of your time in Ireland.  There is so much to do and experience!

English & Culture Programme

The Irish culture has taken thousands of years to develop.  Experience the history of Ireland with our historic sites tour.  In Dublin, visit the ancient monastic site at Glendalough or New Grange passage grave in the Boyne Valley (depending on family location), visit Trinity College & the Book of Kells, and visit Dublin Castle and Cathedral.  In Galway, visit Clonmacnoise, Birr Castle and Thor Ballylea, a 16th century Norman tower.  Learn some traditional Irish cooking and get a taste of Ireland.  Irish dancing has been made famous by the “Riverdance” and “Lord of the Dance” shows who have toured the world.  Try some Irish dancing lessons in Limerick.

English & Sports Programme

Our English & Sports Programme is designed for more active students who enjoy sports or outdoor activities.  There is so much to do in Ireland. There is a large selection of sports to choose from:

The Sports Programme includes 3 sessions of sporting activities (unless otherwise mentioned), entrance fees and transport.

Included in the Sports or Culture Programme:

• You receive 10 hours English lessons per week.
• Your chosen sport or cultural activity, entrance fees and transport.
• Minimum 1 week stay.  Arrive at your teacher’s home any Sunday.
• A friendly Irish family with your own private English teacher.
• Full board accommodation with your own comfortable room.
• The sports or cultural activities are subject to availability. Please check our price list for locations in Ireland where your chosen activity is available.
• English level test on arrival
• One free excursion per week with the teacher during which you will be shown around the local area and do some local sightseeing in beautiful Ireland.
• Use of books and course materials.
• Certificate of Attendance on completion of your English Course.
• Course report at the end of your stay (optional)
