Intensive English Course

The Intensive English course provides the unique opportunity for a full immersion experience, living with and being taught by your own private teacher in Ireland.    You will live, speak and breathe English from the moment you arrive in Ireland. Homestay tuition really is the most effective way to learn English.  You can practice your English all day long in a friendly Irish home environment with a teacher and family matched to suit your needs.  An emphasis is placed here on building your confidence in speaking English.  The course is intensive but varied.  You will make rapid improvement in English in the shortest possible time.

You will be completely isolated from your own language.  You will have no contact with other foreign students as is the case with traditional English schools where lessons and accommodation are shared and students speak their own language after class.  Mealtime conversations, visits, television and social contacts are all in the English language. Living with your teacher means that you will be guided and corrected not only during the English lessons but all the times when the teacher and student are together. You won’t believe how much your English will improve.

All our teachers have either a teaching certificate “Recognised by the State” or a University Degree (or equivalent) accepted by the private sector. In addition they have all been awarded the Regency Certificate which means that the qualifications have been verified and the teachers’ homes have been thoroughly inspected.

Included in the Intensive English Course

• You can choose 10, 15, 20, or 25 hours English lessons per week.
• Minimum 1 week stay.  Arrive at your teacher’s home any Sunday.
• A friendly Irish family with your own private English teacher.
• Full board accommodation with your own comfortable room.
• You can choose from 4 different locations in Ireland.
• Learn English in Dublin, Cork, Galway or Limerick.
• English level test on arrival
• All English lessons are designed to suit the needs and objectives of each individual student.  Your English course will be unique to you.
• After your individual English lessons, you will have the opportunity to practice the English that you have studied as much as you like.
• One free excursion per week with the teacher during which you will be shown around the local area and do some local sightseeing in beautiful Ireland.
• Use of books and course materials.
• Certificate of Attendance on completion of your English Course.
• Course report at the end of your stay (optional)
